Why does my LG Chocolate make a loud buzzing/crackling sound when I play back recorded videos?

Picture it, my LG Chocolate, I'm having a normal day recording stuff on the video camera, and when I play them back, all I can hear is this very loud annoying buzzing sound. What is causing this? I've tried configuring the settings, to no avail. Can someone enlighten me?
